My name is Christian and I’m a Product Designer from Barcelona, living a small town called Alella.
I've been designing products and services for 7+ years, but everything started even before. My curiosity for design and software started during my studies when I was spending most of my time playing Photoshop, Flash, and HTML. In my spare time, I was doing illustrations most days. From personal projects to end up doing some freelance work. It was at that time that I discovered design communities and I focused my mind on product design.
I’m passionate about digital products, old classic 2D platformer games, cooking, wine, and enjoying life experiences with my partner.

Product Designer

At Sketch, I joined the Workspaces vertical (formerly Documents) as a Product Designer. Our main mission is to give confidence to our users that their Sketch documents are safe and they have all the freedom to organize, share and view them. I’m also regularly collaborating with other designers across different verticals to keep improving our design systems or exchange feedback from ongoing projects. My tasks are covering from early research, and benchmarking to mockups and prototypes.
Senior Product Designer

During my last period at XING, I was busy creating a new B2B product: Talent Radar. Same as with the previous product the project required a lot of research and collaboration with Data Science and Engineering. At the same time, some colleagues left the company and during these almost two years I was involved in different hiring processes by participating in candidate interviews.
User Experience Designer

After a year, I joined the Recruiter Insights product team as a UX Designer. We had the challenge to create a new product: Recruiter Insights. During this time I learned a lot from other disciplines like Data Science as I had to collaborate a lot with them while working on this project. By this time I also started to take more research tasks, collaborating with our User Researches and taking part in some interviews. During this period my former PM left the company and by accident, I took his responsibilities as a PM/Designer for a short period of time (during the hiring process). I remember this as a challenging but fun experience.

At XING I joined a small UX team of 5 members. During my first year, I learned a lot from my colleagues, I get to know better the company and understand the products. I worked on updating the old illustration style that B2B products had and I started to establish a new illustration style.

I joined the Barcelona Friday Media Group team. During this time I worked with a wide variety of clients on designing regular email campaigns and improving their B2C/B2B websites. My day-to-day consisted mostly of collaborating with designers and engineers creating assets for the campaigns and solving doubts about ongoing projects.
